Mr. Christian Ogudi, Head of the Human Resource Department of the Nkwanta South Municipal Education Directorate, together with members of the technical team and student athletes, has paid a courtesy call on the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Joseph Awal Antwi.
The visit, which took place on Monday, June 29, 2026, at the office of the Municipal Chief Executive, was to officially present trophies won by student athletes from the Municipality at the recently concluded 2026 Oti Regional Basic Schools Inter-District Sports Festival.
The presentation provided an opportunity for the Education Directorate, coaches, technical team members, and the student athletes to celebrate their achievements and acknowledge the support received in preparing for the competition.
The MCE, Hon. Joseph Awal Antwi, commended the students, coaches, technical team, and the Education Directorate for their dedication and commitment to sports development in the Municipality.
He encouraged the student athletes to remain disciplined and focused on both their academic work and sporting careers, noting that their achievements serve as a source of pride and inspiration to other young people in the Municipality.
The presentation of the trophies highlights the growing contribution of school sports to youth development and provides further motivation for student athletes to continue striving for excellence at the regional and national levels.
