Here's the updated version:
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Nkwanta South, Hon. Joseph Awal Antwi, together with his entourage, undertook a community engagement and working visit to several electoral areas within the Municipality from Tuesday, April 21, to Thursday, April 23, 2026.
The tour took the MCE and his team to Ofosu, Blackie Junction/Abotareye, Tutukpene, B Zongo/Kitare Disane, Alokpatsa, Krachi Akura, Kecheibi, Ashiabre, and Odumase Electoral Areas, where they interacted directly with residents and community leaders.
The chiefs and people of all the communities visited expressed delight in receiving the MCE and his team, and used the opportunity to lay before him their pressing developmental needs. In response, the MCE assured the communities of the necessary steps that would be taken to address their concerns.
The visit forms part of the Assembly's continued efforts to maintain close contact with the grassroots, allowing the MCE and his team to engage residents on developmental concerns and gather firsthand insights into the needs of the various communities.
Such engagements are seen as vital to fostering stronger collaboration between the Municipal Assembly and the people it serves, ensuring that development interventions are guided by the priorities and realities on the ground across the Municipality's electoral areas. The Assembly has reaffirmed its commitment to sustaining these community-level interactions as part of its broader agenda to promote inclusive governance and drive development across Nkwanta South Municipality.
