The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Nkwanta South, Hon. Joseph Antwi has paid a working visit to Abrewanko on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, following concerns brought to his attention by the Municipal Director of Education, Mr. Jonathan Korsinah, regarding issues affecting the safety and comfort of pupils in the community.
As part of the visit, the MCE met with pupils, teachers, the School Management Committee (SMC), Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) executives, parents, and other key stakeholders to discuss the challenges facing the school and explore practical solutions.
Addressing participants, the MCE reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to creating a safe and supportive learning environment for every child. He encouraged stakeholders to continue working together to promote the welfare and development of the school.
The MCE also cautioned members of the community against the spread of false or misleading information on social media. He expressed concern over individuals who create content that portrays students negatively or misleadingly for public attention, stressing that such actions can damage the dignity and image of the children and the community. He urged residents to verify information before sharing it and to prioritize the protection and well-being of pupils at all times.
The engagement demonstrated the Assembly’s dedication to addressing educational concerns through dialogue, collaboration, and responsible communication.
