The Nkwanta South Municipal Assembly has officially handed over Phase I project sites to the contractor under the Ghana Mini Grid and Solar PV Net-Metering Project, paving the way for the installation of solar power systems in selected educational and health facilities in off-grid communities. The exercise, led by the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Joseph Awal Antwi, also included the verification of proposed Phase II sites to support the expansion of clean and sustainable energy access across the municipality.
This important initiative, funded by the Government of Ghana with support from the African Development Fund (ADF), Climate Investment Fund (CIF), and the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), will improve healthcare delivery, enhance teaching and learning, and transform lives through reliable electricity.
Together, we’re building a brighter and more sustainable future for Nkwanta South
