Nkwanta South MCE Presents Six Motorbikes to Boost Healthcare Delivery

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Nkwanta South, Hon. Joseph Awal Antwi, has presented six motorbikes to the Municipal Health Directorate, Mr. Evans Attivor, to improve healthcare delivery across the municipality, particularly in hard-to-reach communities.

The motorbikes are expected to help health workers travel to remote communities more easily, allowing them to provide essential healthcare services to residents who may struggle to access health facilities due to distance and transportation challenges.

The initiative is also expected to support the implementation of the Free Primary Healthcare System, ensuring that more residents, especially those in underserved communities, can benefit from basic healthcare services without unnecessary barriers.

Speaking during the presentation, Hon. Joseph Awal Antwi emphasized the importance of improving access to healthcare for all residents, regardless of where they live. He noted that providing the motorbikes would help health workers reach more people and deliver services more effectively.

The MCE also used the opportunity to appeal to the Ministry of Health and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to support efforts to improve healthcare delivery in the Nkwanta South Municipality. He stressed that continued collaboration and investment in the health sector would go a long way toward ensuring that every resident has access to quality healthcare.
